Recently I was browsing the web I stumbled on a story of a Regent diamond and was suprised how similar it looks to almost all antique cushion replicas I've seen here on pricescope. Wikipedia is telling us that is was cut from the rough to a 141 carat diamond around 1700.
I was just wondering if this is the cut that inspired modern cutters to create antique cushion replicas that won the hearts of so many of us here on pricescope?
If the topic was already discussed, i apologize for repeating it.
Would love to hear from both pricescope veterans and vendors.
