opinion on last two diamonds.

My g/f wants a big stone so I had to go low in color and clarity. I noted many posts in other diamond forums indicating that the strong blue fluorescence supposedly can make it whiter when the colour is I or J. I visited a few local jewelry shops and between H-I-J, it was really hard to catch the difference in appearance by naked eyes.

I came up with final two options.

option 1
1.71 C SI1 J excellent cut $ 7,600. HCA 1.0
I really like the price and the cut, however, I got the magnified photo of the stone, and it shows the black inculsion in the centre, I don't know it would be eye clean clarity.


option 2
1.78 C VS1 J excellent Cut $9,050 HCA1.9

larger table, which will make the stone look bigger and the clarity is amazing.


both options are within my budget and i'm leaning more on option 2.

I want to hear your guys opinions ! thanx !

Did you ask the jeweler if the first one is eye-clean or how far away do you have to be to not be able to see the inclusion?

I would ask for a picture of the second stone. It is a 60/60 which looks slightly different than a Tolk stone...just to make sure
it is to your taste.
