Very pretty! They dont usually put V prong on emerald cuts because they have clipped corners. V prongs are usually for pointed
corners. Not sure how you feel about it but I would not be happy with it because something that I like about emerald cuts are the
clipped corners and you can not see them in that setting. If you like them, then that's all that matters though.
Usually emerald cuts get single prongs. On large emeralds some people put double prongs.
Ive been looking online and saw a few main high end companies selling emerald cut diamonds with V prong settings.
Although, i dont see many with them, I think it looks pretty to my eyes. I do like claw prongs but i cant afford getting a new head and the work to get it redone.
I suppose a little more coverage (your prongs) provides a little more protection from chipping. I would look at it that way. A very, very elegant & pretty ring/set!
