He is in the LA jewelry district. I''ve been to him, as have several others here. He doesn''t have a sarin machine or brilancescope, but he can tell you that the stone matches the cert, give you a valuation, and show you the details of the stone under high magnification. He has an idealscope and an H&A viewer, ans is knowledgable. I found him to be nice, professional, and straight forward. He didn''t provide lots of information that I didn''t already know. He just validated that what I knew was right, (the stone matched the cert), and gave me an insurance appraisal. He was good about listing a value that wasn''t the over inflated 2x retail price since insurance premiums are based on the value of the appraisal.
