Harry Winston Trade-In ring for New HW ring purchase

How much can you get for a ring upgrade at Harry Winston from an older HW ring towards the new ring? Anyone done this before? I have heard if you try to sell yours back you can get only 50%, but if you upgrade or purchase a new ring I would think you would be able to get more like 30% of the retail price. Does anyone know how this works, if their is a formula and what it is based on?

How come I heard it is 110% of the original price for an upgrade?
