Getting into the diamond business

I am really interested in the gemstone business, and I have a real interest in getting into the diamond trade. The only problem is, I have no idea where to start. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have read everything I can on diamonds, I just don''t know how to approach the business. Any and all advie would be appreciated.
