diamond for full bezel-thoughts

hi,
I am looking at a full bezel platinum engagement ring for my wonderful girl friend. My question is, does this ring style influence diamond selection at all? I was wondering if I could be a bit looser on the girdle or cutlet as a result in order to save some money. Does anyone have any full bezel engagement rings thye like and would care to share-I have looked at WF and James Allen.

Mine is a full bezel. The thing that is most important with any diamond is cut. Not sure what you mean about being "looser" on girdle/etc. to save money?
