diamond bracelet

Keeping all factors the same, color, cut, clariety, caret weight... Which would cost more a 5 caret channel set diamond bracelet or a 5 caret "prong" set diamond bracelet?? 14K white gold..... Thanks!!! Abbott

Hi,

Usually (but not always) , a channel set bracelet design will be a little heavier than a prong set design.

More gold weight = more money.

There will usually be a little more labor time in setting a channel set design.

More time = more money.

I ahve a 6 ct channel set WG tennis--I love it. it''s very "slinky" on the wrist and as Brian says, very substantial in the gold weight. If you PM me, I can share some information on cost.

That bracelet is just stunning! The delicate prongs you usually see on a tennis bracelet have put me off thinking about one in the past (I wore through a hollow link gold bracelet so many times that I very sadly just had to stop wearing it in the end).

I could not tell from the photo, but what holds the other 2 sides of each diamond in place?
