Center stone size - what size melee in the halo?

I know I've been hogging the board lately, but just want to make sure everything is perfect. I have a round brilliant with the following measurements: 8.32*8.30*5.17. What size melee in the halo would compliment it the most? I've been told 2 pointers would look good, but not sure. Any comparison pictures out there? Anyone willing to post pictures of their halos with various melee sizes? Thank you so much!

Since you probably will get a stock setting (I linked you the Gabriel and Co. site on your other thread), you need to just look at the pictures and see what you like. They aren't going to list the melee size on those settings.

It depends on the look you want.

You can do 1/2 pointers, 1 pointers, 2 pointers, heck even 5 pointers if you want a deco cluster halo.

It depends on how big that center is. Best person to tell you would be Victor. I would probably say one pointers would be fine. Half pointers would be too big. And two pointers too large. Maybe 1.5 pointers. Really depends on how big that center is in the picture. I would say one pointers though. One pointers give you a halo about 1.7mm. That's about right.

Oh. Well. That means it's basically irrelevant. Gabriel and Co is the best bet there.

Honestly, I'd consider buying a 300 buck temporary setting to propose with. Then saving up for her dream setting.

Thank you for your help! I might check out some local jewelers also as well as going to a jewelry show for a variety of options.

Becareful. There is a lot of cheap pave. You can get a cheap chinese made pave setting for 400 but it's not the type of quality that will stand up to every day wear. And that's what you need. If it doesn't have a good ENFORCEABLE warranty on it, it's not worth it.
