Can anyone provide some guidance on purchasing a diamond around 2ct? I would like to find something in the 1.9-2.1 range, with a fairly good cut. I''d rather not go below VS2, but may look into some SI1. Do you think I should go with a color below G? Is H still acceptable for this type of diamond? I a off to a local store and am trying to figure out exactly what price range I should be looking for. Any thoughts would help (including on what dimensions I should look for).
