I played with the "average" hot seat # for the last few LIWs to get engaged.. and that's #30.
So….. SO and I are on the 'slower' end of things
Um.. my lucky number is 13, so let me go with that guestimate!

With MayFlowers, Titian, Glitz, CaprineSun and LJL all higher on the list than I am, and their engagements looming in the near future, I'd say #13 might be a safe bet!

I'm going to go with #14. The 14th is our anniversary, lots of ladies have come off at #14 (including our most recent!) AND that gives me about 9 more spots to go. Seems about right? I know movement at the low 20s and up is slow so I think that may be reasonable *if* we're engaged by the end of the year (my one and only hope!). If not, I may end up in the top 10 but Andrew has assured me I will never ever see #1 (yes...he totally knows about the list and asks where I'm at now and then!).

Ditto! There's no way he'll let a diamond ring sit and sit and sit for no reason? Right? Every day you're not wearing it is making it just more expensive per day's wear worth!

(Idea inspired from an article I once read that says to invest in quality items for things you wear often, so even though it's a $500 purse, it only averages out to be 46 cents cost per day if you use it daily for 3 years.. versus spending $50 on a pair of platform heels that you'll only wear 5x that would average $10/wear..)

It's my favorite number, for one. Also, M and I are quite a ways off from engagement. He has told my family "It will happen" but we haven't looked at rings together, nor has he saved money (I don't think) towards one. He has an idea of what I like but that's about it. So, I'm sure I'll end up in the top 10 before things get real.

I believe that I'm currently at number 39 so I'm going to say that my lucky number is going to be #27, as we've looked at rings and we are tossing around wedding dates and so forth... so in the next few months I'm sure that I'll be getting my proposal from him... (as we have already decided that my semi-proposal last week doesn't count on officially being engaged, it was a more of I'm ready when you are proposal) plus the 27th is our anniversary date... It's a very lucky/unlucky number for me...

I know he has money coming out of each paycheck for my ring and we won't be heading to good old gold til January on one of my breaks from school... Mine is number 10. It has been my lucky number my whole life. It has also been my volleyball number since I was 10 and all the way until I was done in college. Also, if SO proposes this year it will around 10 years sine we met. We met in November of Junior year of High School. So I am thinking that will be a great number for me!! I'd really love to get married on a 27th, like you Madelise (13th for you of course!). I'd love to get married on the exact anniversary date, but 27 December is probably worst choice ever! I just HAD TO peek at dates next spring, and October 27 is a Sunday with a public holiday the next day. Dreams are free! I will be taking MENTAL NOTES this year of how the weather is in October (probably raining, as usual)!
