Hahah, I literally just 2 minutes ago finished (I think?) a paper about the same length (23 pages without references) and saw this and thought, "Hey, who posted my celebration?!" Congratulations to you, my dear! I know EXACTLY how you feel!!!
congrats! I remember my very last paper I wrote for my degrees...i wanted to frame it...although i still have it...antways...back to the story at hand...YAY!!
haha i wish i knew when my ring would be finished...im not allowed to know that detail...and the guys got smart on me (m and our jeweler) they are no longer sharing info through email...but phone calls....
This brings me flashbacks of finishing my undergraduate thesis. Tiny by graduate school standards, but a 45 page summary of 1.5 years of biochemistry research certainly seemed daunting to a 22 year old! I remember being very happy, and very tired, when I finally turned it in. I think I celebrated by taking a nice, long nap.
Alexis, you said you wanted to frame yours - I ended up getting mine bound in a book and it makes it look so official. It''s something my family was proud to see anyway!
Anyway emilina22, congratulations on jumping this hurdle. Memory failures certainly sounds like an interesting topic!
Gwendoyln, congrats to you as well! What was your topic for your last paper?
I am doing a master''s in special & inclusive education, and for this last paper, I had to choose a topic on which to write a literature review. I choose three different sensory system disorders (sensory processing disorder, sensory defensiveness and tactile defensiveness) and wrote allllll about them and how they impact an inclusive classroom--these kids usually receive certain therapies so their nervous systems can calm down enough for them to learn, and the whole idea behind inclusive education is that kids aren''t sent out of the classroom for ''specialists'' sorts of things, and aren''t singled out within the classroom, so I thought it was an interesting dilemma on what to do about it. (Sorry, that was probably a lot more detail than you wanted to know.)
