_-_-_"The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating - in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life."_-_-_

Hi Pluck15, Jaylex, Luckyeshe, and LucyandRoger! Thank you! I had my reservations but I think its going to be a beauty ;)
Kribbie No pictures yet, but i''ll post pics of the ring when i get my grubby little hands on it!! Shertz1981 My SO has this thing about diamonds. He wanted to make sure the diamond was sustainably mined and didn''t come from an area of conflict. Not sure how much of it is marketing and how much of it is actually true, but he researched it and decided he wanted to only buy Canadian. Hence, the maple leaf inscribed on it ;) The best part about this diamond? It was cut in between our birthdays! (when he was going to propose, but didn''t!) How''s that for fate?! |
