simulant accents with diamond center

I know we don't talk about simulants here, but has anyone every heard of a e-ring with simulant accents and a natural diamond center stone? Any views on this? Looking at eight accents equivalent to 1ct TCW with a .6-.75ct natural center diamond.

Discussion of sims isn't allowed, so I think that's why you haven't had many responses - since this is a diamond forum, I'm not sure you're going to get a lot of recommendations for combining sims and genuine - and to be honest, I think I'd prefer to have a solitaire as opposed to a ring with sims. Just my opinion!

I doubt it would save a lot of money, since diamond melee isn't that expensive while the labour to set tiny stones is. Add in the difference between the melee and the main stone, and I don't think it is worth it.
