Antique Rope Necklace marked 14 kt BB

Good afternoon. I just ran across this site and thought I''d see if anyone knows the answer to this issue. I have a 16" graduated rope necklace purchased at an estate sale 27 years ago. The necklace is marked 14 kt with another stamp of BB. Does anyone know what the BB means and anything else about it?

many companies include company initials or logo stamp with the purity stamp.
