Does anyone use a good voice recognition software? I've read mixed reviews on all the things I've looked into and am really hoping to get some advice from people who have actually tried it.

We have Windows 7 on my laptop, Windows 8 on a Surface, Android something on a tablet computer, and the ability to install pretty much any other OS (non-apple) on whatever. I think we've got the latest Windows Server software installed too.

DH has been out of work on disability since July. The insurance is being super slow so he hasn't been paid since then :nono:
We really need for him to be able to go back to work as soon as possible. I'm working with his chiropractor, massage therapists, and spine specialist to make sure his set up for work is as friendly to his body as possible.

I'm hoping to find a voice software that actually works to try to cut down how much he has to type during the work day. Even being able to have the computer type basic stuff for documentation and e-mails would be a huge help.

He is a senior software development engineer so he spends his day sitting at a computer typing...

Dragon NaturallySpeaking is the standard.
Expensive but it works.
