~~This is a split that I REALLY didn''t see coming...Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro have amicably split. They were married for a little less than three years, and although the media accused them of separating, Carmen told people in April, "We''re fine". It seems that the press can spot these things a mile away. First Nick & Jess, and Now Carmen & Dave. I liked them together too!!!

awww this is really sad to me...i watched their wedding special and it seemed like they were two people who had REALLY found their true mate in each other, kinda wacky and crazy and maybe ''odd'' compared to other people.... but always ''together'' in whatever they did and definitely in love.... that sucks. i remember hearing the rumors on this, aka that their lives and careers were kind of going in separate directions but i hoped it wasn''t true. Aw...when I read this on people earlier my jaw dropped! I was shocked, but honestly it seems like almost ALL of hollywood couples split! To me that''s really sad. I wish that people in today''s age would go into marriage more aware of the commitment they are making.

I loved Till Death Do Us Part! I think Carmen is gorgeous, and thought it was so cute how they gave each other shots before the wedding when they were fealing under the weather!

I read on perezhilton that Dave is living with his GF of 5 months already, and that Carmen doesn''t really care bc she is so career motivated at this time in her life.

So WHO''S next to split from the MTV Reality bunch?! Shanna & Travis from "Meet the Barkers." Another MTV Reality show that I loved!

I do not know much detail, none of the articles really are saying WHY. Just that after ten years, they are calling it quits. This is her fourth husband. She has had kids with three of them. The third husband is an ass, I know people who know him in California. That marriage lasted months. I feel for her, with all her beauty and a handsome hubby and gorgeous healthy kids and a house in the Hamptons she is not a happy lady clearly. I wonder what will make her happy this time?

I believe she is suing him for sexual harrassment as well... I don''t know much about it, but that''s what I''ve understood the situation to be.

I really liked Carmen and Dave too, but they were both so intense it just seemed like one of those relationships that was bound to "implode" sometime. Reminds me of past relationships I''ve had where our passionate personalities were just too similar... it was fun sometimes, but just too much for everyday living. I love love LOVE the balance I have now with my fiance... I''m the intense, passionate, sensitive, dramatic one and he''s the strong, stable, calming, positive one... all the reasons I thought he was "too nice" when I first met him, are the reasons I can''t imagine my life without him now!

I did hear all about it, and I still feel sad for her. She had this fairy tale life and he was living another life at the same time. This is not the first young girl he did this too, one was right before he proposed to Christie, was dating her but had not proposed. He is sick. And she might not have known better at 18 (and what kind of jack ass pays an 18 year old with zero experience $50.00 and hour?!) but now she sees what has occured. He could not leave the girl alone apparently. I feel for Christie, this perfect facade is now shattered, and she is having to come back from another failed marriage. Must be tough and sad when all you thought you had is just bs...because your almost 50 year old hubby could not keep his hands off a girl young enough to be his daughter by a long shot.

My dh and I are celebrity news junkies, and we also are hardcore RockStar: INXS & Rockstar: Supernova fans. I tivo it. Last year Dave Navarro was so sweet & cool, even when the singers bombed, he was funny & constructive with his criticism. This season, he''s SO CRANKY & MEAN! He''s just got this pissed off look on his face & is ripping the singers apart. My DH said, "wow, wonder if he and Carmen are having issues"...well then I hear this ...

I agree that I feel resentment when the couple is split, everyone can pretty much guess as much, and they act so odd and continue to say they are together like nothing is going to be released about it. Do they think we are that stupid??? And it is usually pretty soon after it is written about that they end up confirming it. I respect their privacy and when kids are involved it is hard and as parents I am sure they want to keep things more mellow, but hey, you put yourselves in the public eye so to some extent you have to be prepared for the curiosity and speculation about you and your life. Rumors and the desire to know about these stars help keep them in the public arena. Unless something really instrusive and over the top is done to them, (which I am sure has been the case many times too), I think this is part of the price one pays to be a celebrity today. For better or for worse, which also seems to be a marriage vow that means very little.

~~MTV should NOT create another tv show for a celeb couple, and this is why...Travis Barker filed for divorce from Shanna Moakler this morning. Again, I had heard rumors about this for a while, but they always denied them. This is soooo sad!!! Of all of the couples who have split, this one shocked me the most. They have 2 children together (and she has one daughter from a previous relationship w/ Oscar De La Hoya). I really hope this is what's best for them and their children.

I think it is so sad to see all these couples just biting the dust. Not a surprise, mind you, but still sad. I would think most stars will think twice about being on a show, it seems all of the except Britney are history (and I am sure she will not be far behind).

No, but I read that he was in a relationship with another woman while dating and marrying Carmen, whatever THAT means...and that she KNEW. And married him anyway...hello, low self esteem from one of the most stunning women in entertainment? I am at a loss as to why someone would say, hey, carry on with your other woman, let''s get married anyway...certainly not anything I would accept! But it is Hollyweird, so I guess anything goes...but not for too long, clearly!
