I thought I'd post this in Hangout as a lot of long-time posters are over here. Plus I'm worn out talking about health care.
I may need to replace a diamond stud earring or maybe get a new pair, having managed to lose one of mine down the bathroom drain never to be seen again. I have a vague recollection of a discussion years ago by Garry or one of the other pros about how you might want a slightly different diamond for studs than a ring. Something about shallower angles or a bigger table or spreadier or something. Does anyone else remember this? Or what was said? It was at least 5 or 6 years ago, maybe longer, and I have no idea if it was part of someone's thread or a more general discussion. Thanks for any help or insight you can offer.
