Nice looking setting... Sleek, Modern, stylish... ![]() Seems to be a well executed and polished piece. ![]() IMHO White gold will help provide better contrast while yellow gold would add a little tone to the stone. Nice!

Just note that it often costs more to set a stone in white gold because they have to re-rhodium plate the ring. My jeweler charges $60 to do this, although I hear that some PS''ers have it done for free by their jewelers. So far, I cannot find a jeweler with workmanship that I trust that will do that for free or for a much lower price. My last two rings I decided not to re-rhodium because of the exhorbitant cost (on top of just setting the stone). They looked fine afterwards. The prongs on one are a tad bit grey, but you really can''t notice the difference. I certainly don''t think it''s worth $60 to re-rhodium THAT.
