Show Us Your NOT Blue Sapphires!

There are so many blue sapphires here on the forum, I thought the non-blue deserved a little space too.

We always tell people that sapphires come in all the colors of the rainbow, but rarely do we show them.

So, show us your yellows, oranges, greens, purples, pads, shifters/changers, etc.

Acimom: It was set by ID Jewelry in New York. They set all my stones because I can't resist their diamond quality and pricing! They do beautiful claw prongs, too. I'll post the actual original thread link below, and you can read all about all the extra effort they went through for me (mock up setting and everything!). Beautiful stone, I'd love to see more pics!

"Fuschia purplish pink" sapphire ring - stone is from Gary Braun - heat only. Unset sapphires (through glass so dulls them out a bit):

Upper left orange oval heat only sapphire from Vance Gems (lower left is chrysoberyl)
Trillion is unheated "brownish pink orange" sapphire according to AGL also from Vance Gems
Oval purple unheated sapphire from Peter Toracca
Green unheated sapphire from Roger Dery
Fuschia pink unheated sapphire from Primagems
Oval purple/pink sapphire (heat only) from Jeff Davies son (who was selling for a short while)

Oval heat only yellow sapphire from Jeff Davies via Chris Auletta (through glass next to salmon & orange sapphires) The yellow is a really bright sapphire, but the photo is lousy.

I love all the gorgeous sapphires! Here is my purple sapphire from Mastercutgems. I also own a pink sapphire but don't have any pictures right now but it's nothing compared to your beautiful pink one colorluvr!

Thanks for the nice compliment livannie. I forgot that I had a couple of photos of my 2.71 ct purple unheated sapphire from Jeff Davies - lousy photo, but gives you an idea. It's a shifter and can go toward blue, but looks purple under most lighting.

Colour change sapphire
Purple sapphire (one of my very favourite stones because it has so much personality)

A few more - can you tell I'm just a bit obsessed with colour change sapphires? lol

Bracelet with 12ct of colour change sapphires - I can't capture this at all. It's phenomenal but looks yuck in the photos!

One of the stones in the bracelet is not only a colour changer but it's also bi-colour! I love it!

This one is hilarious! I've posted the vendor's photo, what I got (ie a dull gem with a view) and then a photo of how the window almost disappeared when set! This was purely set for fun and to remind me not to buy from that vendor again lol!

Another colour change sapphire bracelet - I think this one has a total of 9 or 10 ct.

Thanks for asking gayani1 but I can't find it to link to. It was from a long time ago. The stone is a 1.89ct heated oval pink sapphire in a Parade Lace setting. Here are a couple more pics. It throws a lot of purple in the sun.

I'm guessing there will be loads of people coming onto this thread curious about sapphires - and I have to say that keeping them clean (so they are clear and sparkling) is truly key to loving them. my green sapphire seems to attract both oil and dirt, so I've taken to cleaning it religiously everyday (and whenever I have a wet toilette on hand).

so many pretty colors here!
