Pink Chrome Taaffeite - extremely rare

Back from Munich show - this was the most impressive gem I have seen!!

An extremely rare and beautiful soft pink Chrome Taaffeite - 2,15 ct. Usually Taaffeite is not very saturated ( colorless - light to dark greyish lavender).

He wants 8.500 EUR - so around 11.000 $

Too much for me - but I will miss it when it is sold - after Tucson it is gone - I am sure.

Another impressive gem this weekend was a 3,62 ct Kashmir Sapphire in a top sleepy color with a Gübelin report!!! Wonderful - but some Sri Lanka and Madagskar Sapphire came very close.....
