My stone bank is empty, but I was drooling over a few of the stones after seeing that email (the montana sapphire and malaya garnet in particular). Hope PSers buy tons so I can drool over pics here

I got the scapolite! I'm never the first to these things (and they're usually nowhere near my budget), so I'm excited that it finally happened.

The benitoite is absolutely phenomenal but far out of my price range. I also liked the tourmaline but didn't try for it.

I wanted most of those stones, but alas, not exactly in the cards for me for now. Sooo many beautiful options.

Glad to hear everyone's successes, and I look forward to seeing the finished rings!

I listed three, in descending order of preference, Tenebrescent Scapolite, Golden Beryl and Blue-ish Green Tourmaline, and all had been spoken for by the time Jeff got my e-mail.

The others are out of my reach - the strawberry garnet is gorgeous.

Nevermind, the money saved will go towards setting another CS I have purchased this year.

I just got the tourmaline and am thrilled! It is exactly what I expected based on his pics. This is my first Jeff White stone and I can see why he has a following as the faceting is mesmerizing. Pics taken with an iPhone outdoors. The stone is so bright I had trouble getting it to focus so included a blurry one for fun.
