blusher - velcro

i know the subject line must sound v. weird, but i went to a bridal salon yesterday and they showed me 2 tiered veils (very simple, classic ones.) she said using one of the tiers of the blusher ruins the effect, plus it''s not sheer. she said usually brides purchase a blusher which can be velcroed to the hair comb--which is sheer and can go over the veil when lifted. it also can be removed for the reception. she said it''s very common--is it? i never heard of it, but bought into her logic!
