Hi telephone89,

No buddy, I am not advertising. does it really look like? I don't know but I have just posted to become a part of this conversation. And, the photo I have uploaded is mine. And the alone ring one was captured from the website itself , you can check it out there.
In that case, you'd be better off posting on Rocky Talky. You posted in a thread for 1ct diamonds or less. Apologies for jumping to incorrect conclusions.

Hi, I'm new here. I've learnt so much from pricescope for these past three months that when I finally get my ring, I feel like I need to post it here. So here it is, 0.8 carat center diamond, D VVS2, triple excellence on its GIA cert. I didn't see the actual diamond before it was presented to me already mounted on the ring. And there was no way to ask for an idealscope/aset picture of the diamond. So I only went for a diamond which numbers were within recommended range on the certificate.

I own 3 rings under 1 ct. They're from Bluenile the round solitaire is .32ct, the assher is .30ct and the cushion is also .30ct. They're not big but on my small hands they look in proportion.

Here's my transitional cut (or "Circular Brilliant" on the GIA cert). It's probably 100+ years old. I imagine it may have been worn by a lady from the era in which Downton Abby was set. This antique stone has larger facets than a modern round brilliant and therefore bigger flashes of color. I notice that it's very pleasing in the evening lights of the house, even lower lighting. I guess that's because it was cut for candlelight and/or gaslight.

My husband just gave it to me. He had no special reason - it was just from his generous heart <3

Specs:

.77ct, I color, VS1 clarity

The table is rather small at 52% and it has a tiny culet. The girdle isn't faceted but somehow someone managed to inscribe it

Something unique about it: it has some fluorescence, but it's PINK, not the usual blue. (95% of stones with fluorescence glow blue under UV.) It's really a lovely pink under a UV light.

Thank you :) I found a google image with the same pink mine has under UV light... It's the one in the very middle.

Cora, that is amazing! You have a very special diamond! In the 10 years I have been here, I do not think I have ever seen a diamond with pink fluorescence!

Cora, the idea of pink fluor like that is ahmaaaaaaaaazing!! If you can get a picture of your diamond fluorescing, that would be awesome (make it its own thread!), but it is tricky to do... attempts welcomed, though. :D I think you will find some MAJOR fans of fluorescence on here, not to mention fans of old cuts, and to find unusual fluorescence in an old cut... well, It approaches a Holy Grail stone for some of us... :naughty:

Well that's really exciting to hear about my very own diamond ☺️ I'll try to zip into my old job place, a small business jeweler in the area and get a picture of it under their black light. It was the wife-partner of the business who found the pink fluorescence and pointed out to me how unusual it was

Joe, this is one of the prettiest pendants I've ever seen, I love it and it's a beautiful way to memorialize Sweetpea and keep her spirit close. (((hugs))))

Love the sentiment if they slightly elongate the 2 middle nubs in the bail them it would have looked like a paw ah

It will go back to the bench guy next month. I'll run that buy him. That's for the idea.

Okay, giving this a try! I think it's my first post ever.
This is my tiny baby! (Actually, Swedes are generally not as blingy as other parts of the world, so most consider my diamond to be rather large, which I find amusing, being completely immune after living on Priscescope for a while.)

We took some before-pics because I'm getting an upgrade, still staying under 1ct, though, and I want to compare and remember my first ring. I'll be keeping everything the same, but with a new setting and a 0.7-somehing stone instead.

This one is something like 0.32ct TW VS in a Palladium setting. I don't have the papers from the jeweller at home, but it's small and precious. I do realize now, after going wild with he macro today, that the ring itself has a lot of love dents. You barely see them with the naked eye. Looking forward to a good polish soon.

Thought I would post my new ring here since I think it's a great example of how fancy shapes can be a way to get size on a budget. Of course, I realize fancies aren't everyone's cup of tea, and I can't deny the beauty of a classic round. But something for consideration!

Ring is a .58ct marquise, size 5 on a size 4.5 ring (I like to size up since my fingers swell):

Hi,

I would like to share with you my .91ct round brilliant e-ring purchase at the local jewellery store.

Not sure about the specs as I took this photo in my office.

I inherited this ring from my father-in-law. It was his wife's ring (she passed before I got to meet her). Initially we were going to try to sell it, but he gifted it to me! The amazing thing is that the band did not even need to be resized. Totally touched by the notion.

It's .90ct. diamond. I1 clarity. H-I color. Size 3.5 finger. Anyhow, we're planning on resetting it in the future. Even though it's an I1 it sparkles like mad because it is cut well.

This is my most favourite thread on PS - I have probably looked through it dozens of times start to finish - and I finally get to add my own! I don't know the exact carat weight of this centre stone, but it is definitely under 1ct! It is an elongated marquise...my rough ruler measurements put it at about 9-9.5mm x 3.5-4mm. The bezel makes it hard to tell exactly. Estimated at 2 total carat weight (other stones are french cuts and OECs). The french cut halo adds a lot of size to the rather skinny marquise!
