Lurker here...this is my first post! I'm excited to post my rings on this thread as there are a lot of beauties here. This is my current setting which they didn't set properly when we got married. The prongs and overall setting were made for a 1 carat, and it's obvious that it's set too deep and the prongs are too thick for my 0.70 point diamond which doesn't do it justice! New setting will be the same centre diamond (which my husband put a lot of thought into and which I l-o-v-e) in a cushion halo that's set a bit higher, and the diamonds will be prong set with no milgrain border. Got the idea of putting a round brilliant into a halo cushion from here and another forum...so thank you!! I'm sooo excited to get it in a few weeks. Will post pics when the new e-ring arrives! For now, here are some uber-blurry pics and specs for my current rings. Wedding band will stay the same as they're custom making the e-ring setting to fit it, which is great as my wedding band is very sentimental to me.

Engagement ring: 18K white gold, centre round brilliant diamond (0.71 ct, VVS1, F, ideal cut), 0.25 ct of diamonds in the band (SI1, G-H), ring size 4.5
Wedding band: 18 white gold, 0.50 ct of diamonds (VS, G-H), ring size 4.5
