Here''re my deco earrings, Old Mine Cut....or so I thought until I looked at the closeups. The one on the left is clearly more "cushion shaped" with sort of corners, and a bigger culet. Maybe the other one is OEC???

Bagpuss's ring may be my favorite on PS. Such a beautiful stone! Such a beautiful setting! Such a beautiful human being, too.

Here's the ring my dad bought for my mom from antiqueengagementrings.com a couple of Christmases ago. He gave it to me when she passed away last year. I don't wear it, but it has a place of honor in my jewelry box. If I remember correctly, it is a 1ct. L/VS1.

OH WOW!!! LOVE ALL OF THESE.. How come all of yours look so much more antique-y than mine.. is it just my modern setting?? "normal" people don't know that mine is anything different than a normal RB.. I can see the difference, but not like in all of yours.

I believe i have an OEC, although the only appraisal we ever got just said european cut..

Thanks Widget! We''re ready to go to wax, so I''ll post photos to get opinions. My conservative estimate is late Sept/early Oct, just because I may make a few changes to the wax along the way

From the top it will look just like a sleek, modern full bezel...the side view is just so I have a little something special to look at!
