i like the shared prong the best out of the diamondy bands. what about getting the shared prong redone somehow so that it fits flush and also has no diamond overhang?

how does this one differ from the SK one as to not damage the e-ring?

The shared prong band as exposed girdles which can scratch whatever ring is next to it. The SK band has a smooth edge and the diamonds are set into the mounting (i.e. no exposed girdles).

I don''t know!!! I guess I''m torn. I mean, I think the plain looks the most like a set and probably looks best. But I love the SK band as a ring -- and I would love to be able to wear a diamond band with my solitaire. But...I just don''t know if this is the one. Maybe I need to get a spacer and wear my shared prong with it??? I mean, technically, the plain band could act as a spacer, but I don''t know how that would look. And I don''t want to scratch up the plain band.

i''d get a super thin band and wear the shared prong with it when you want the extra sparkle. aljdewey got a 1mm spacer or something super thin and it''s really just a gold toe ring that was something like $20. you can''t even see it unless you look closely. and if you come across something that just FITS and works for your solitaire, then get that! you don''t have to buy something ASAP....keep looking til you find the right band.

Could you gingerly put them together for a picture so we could see how it would look?

I definitely prefer the plain band. I love that classic Tiffany look, and it puts the focus on the solitaire. It would also be fun to keep the SK as a dressy alternative, though! Fun to have options!
May I ask who made the setting for your ring and what is the carat of your center stone. Is it from Tiffany?

No, I mean using the knife edge band as a spacer and then the shared prong.

My ring isn''t from Tiffany''s. It''s a Tiffany replica made by Superbcert. My center stone is 2.35ct.

this taste test is too hard! I like them all; I like variety.

I say stick with the shared prong from SP with the little spacer band. Wear it with the plain sometimes and with the channel now and than!
(that doesn''t help does it?)

I think the three bands are too bulky. But maybe that''s just me.

Dem, I hope you don't mind, but in order to get the right idea, I flipped your picture around a bit. It just gave me a better visual of all three rings.
