Thank you, my husband had a hand in designing my wedding ring and the RHR was just a variation on the same theme, also custom made with my husband''s input.

The sparkles are the hardest thing to capture in a picture.
I think my point-and-shoot camera (most P&S cameras?) has a filter to cut down on glare so what you see in a picture is not quite as sparklie as what you see IRL.
I''m glad the sparkles came through

So lovely, the picies came out great!!!

They only look pristine like this for a few days, then the nicks start to show. No so much IRL to the naked eye, but the dings certainly loom large in a photo using a macro setting.

I like to do a photo shoot when I get them back from the jeweler. It has been a couple of years since I had them polished and cleaned, so they were way overdue.

It was like getting brand new rings back!

It is nice to come back and visit and it''s great seeing so many of the same people still here.
I miss PS, but I do try to lurk and read as much as I can, mostly in SMTR forum so I get a regular dose of bling.

And Sevensone does a great job of keeping the engagement ring/eye candy thread going, so I check that out regularly too.

I’m a former PS poster, who has long ago retired into lurkdom. Life has occupied all my free time (kids graduating from college and moving away; MAJOR home remodel; work, work and more work!). So I lurk as much as I can, but don’t have a lot of time to post anymore.

Anyway, I just recently got my rings polished and decided to have a photo shoot and I think I got some pretty good shots. So I thought to myself “who to share them with?” Answer. “Why, my fellow PSers, of course!
So for those that remember me (and my rings) this will be a trip down memory lane. For those that don’t know me, then I hope you enjoy seeing my sparklies for the first time.

So quickly, here are the stats:
Wedding ring: 1.45ct, I color, VVS2, GIA Cert
RHR (10 year anniversary): Center 1.51ct, H, VS2; Sides 1.01, J,VS1 and 1.03 J, VS2 EGL-USA Cert. I wear it with matching half eternity rings.

My style is modern and I like the feel of a hefty ring. My rings are not the most popular style nowadays, but I know we all can appreciate a good diamond pic, right?

So, I hope you enjoy my pictures. I just wanted to share them with those that understand the time involved in getting that elusive “money” shot. It was fun spending time taking pictures of my rings in different environments, even if it only produced a handful of good pics, it was worth it.

Life has been good, thank you for asking. My family and I are all happy and healthy and my son has moved away to another state after being offered a two year job commitment/contract after graduation so my husband and I are focusing on the remodel of our home now.

I always come back to look at the pictures in the SMTR and I was anxious to share my new ones with all of you.
It feels great to be back.
