#JOTW Over the moon[stone]! - a glowing stone in a diamond halo

I've been conceptualizing this ring for quite awhile, and was anxious to bring it to fruition! My heart was set on a moonstone and diamond ring project (moonstone is an alternate birthstone for DH, diamond is my birthstone), but I quickly learned that finding a perfect moonstone is HARD! I eventually did find one that I loved, sent it off to be set, and voila!

It's a 2.11ct (9.8mm x 8mm) Sri Lankan moonstone by Barry Bridgestock set in a platinum halo setting with .50ctw of F/G diamonds by David Klass.

I'm totally in love, and find myself mesmerized by the ethereal glow of the moonstone.

I agree w all, the ethereal glow is mesmerizing on this stone, and the halo looks perfect w your left hand stack. Seems like it was worth the wait! - congratulations on a good set of decisions. I love the basket, too..

I was drooling over this ring on David's FB page and am so happy that it belongs to a PSer! It is ethereally beautiful, not to mention absolutely unique and one-of-a-kind! It's like something out of The Lord of the Rings! I also love how it looks stacked with your eternity bands. Plus, you have such lovely young hands. I know, I need to stop gushing! I love your ring! The stone is gorgeous!! I have only seen a few moonstones here, and they have been lovely, but there is something really special about your stone. It glows from within! I love the setting with the diamonds and your bands with it. It is a great look!
