my new oval

Now I see how hard it is to take pictures of a ring!! Here is my e-ring, a few weeks late. FF has cert so not sure of exact specs...center is about 2.4 carats, sides total about .6. color of center is E, not sure about sides. Ring is sized at 4.75, but I might need it to be made to a 4.5. I love it!

A few notes- my FIANCE has the cert. Ha. The sides are pears, but they are ''tucked under'' the center stone a drop. Length to width is 1.37.

I am glad the pears are tiny- originally I wanted them bigger or 2 other ovals, but they really allow the center stone to pop. Finding an oval is NOT easy. I found one lone oval without a bowtie, but it was an I and much too yellow for our tastes.

I will try to get my hands on it. I think it is 2.39, E, either VS2 or SI1. I know the L/W is about 1.37 which I love. I did not want a skinny oval, nor did I want one that looked like a misshappen round. The depth is around 59% or so. It''s on the shallow side, but when looking at ovals I noticed the shallower ones had more life and less bow tie. Plus the spread! I love cushions, but I''m glad I went with the oval.
