This ring was hand crafted for my grandmother, she gave it to me a couple years ago and I have been meaning to replace the center stone but just never got around to it. I am thinking a yellow diamond? What stone do you think would look nice inside?
How pretty and special that it''s handmade by your grandmother!! I think a yellow diamond would get lost in the free-form flower. I think a deep colored gemstone would stand out very nicely, though.
I think anything would be lovely in the center (because it''s even lovely with nothing there!)-- get what you want!
a yellow diamond would look gorgeous! (or blue, or white, or pink, or any diamond
Pink and blue natural diamonds will be expensive compared to a white diamond or a gemstone. I do like the idea of a sapphire, ruby, or emerald. Or what about the birthstone of your grandmother?
That ring is a true work of art! I would go for either a red gemstone or a blue one. I really like the idea of a cornflower blue sapphire as someone suggested before the most. So long as there is a good contrast between the metal and the stone I think you will be all set!
