I've been a lurker on this forum for the longest time and have enjoyed looking at all your wonderful rings.
So, I thought it is time for me to share mine.
I'm not the greatest photograhpher, so this is the only good pix I got so far.
Unfortunately I do not have the pertinent info that you guys want.
It is certified with a GIA paper (which is somewhere in the pile of junk that we have to sort through at home.)
My husband got it 3.5 years ago (and before I found out about pricescope).
He purchased it at a local jeweler here in southern CA.
The center stone is a round brilliant as are the side stones.
The center stone is set slightly higher than the sides, so it gives the side stones the illusion of a pear or trilliant shape.
Can't seem to capture the sparkle that many of you were able to.
(I would include a whole hand shot but I was forced to crop the picture down to the required size)
OMG that is less then a carat??? What size finger do you have? Heavens I would not have guessed that to 10 tries. Well it certainly is lovely, thank your for posting it!
Thank you ladies.
You are all so generous with your comments.
I have been wavering about posting my ring because it is no where near the mega carats that I've been seeing on this forum.
After drooling over the super duper caratage here, my ring look like a tiny speck
.
I can see how being on this forum is bad for us (or at least our pocket book.)
You all have such beautiful jewelries.
This is the best place to window shop (and not be tempted to buy).
Paula C:
I do have a simple wedding band (about 2.5 mm) that I don't wear.
I have rather short and stubby fingers, so the extra width of the band seems to overcrowd my finger.
My band doesn't sit flush like yours, so there is this gap that I can't stand.
Also, the additional width seems to make the diamond look smaller, which is something I don't want
since I am already suffering from what you gals call "shrinkage".
Matatora:
I am guessing my ring size is 3.25-3.5. Each jeweler seems to have their sets of ring guides, so I get one reading from one and another from another.
I have big knuckles, so I need a slightly larger size to fit over my finger.
