HI guys, I got my ring today!

My boyfriend of 5 yrs just gave me this ring for my birthday! I need to get a new setting for the diamond. any suggestion?

my boyfriend ask me to get a new setting for the ring locally. He said he doesn't know which one I like, so he just ask them to set it in a simply setting,( So I can wear it right away.) then I can choose the setting later. what do you guys think? I am thinking of a very thin band with diamond sets all around or 3/4 on the band, since my fingers are short.

ooohhh c-c....beautiful! I think that the setting you have is gorgeous--classic with simple elegance. However, if you want to switch it up, there are a lot of beautiful settings out there to choose from. What's your "type?" Do you like antique or modern, solitaire or side diamonds, substantial or more minimal....you get the idea

Edited--oops, didn't see that you wanted a thin eternity band...sorry! Ok, brainstorming........

I love when guys do this!! I LOVE a thin band, especially if you have short fingers! If it were me, I would go for 3/4 around the band, that way it could be sized later if need be.

yes, I am in toronto. I chose a simply setting which I can wear it everyday!
