Very excited to show off my ACA from Whiteflash, a 1.10 carat, G Si1, ring size 6.5. It's paired with my original .32 carat twist-style band from Simon G.
My original e-ring was a .95, I1 from Zales and I was never really happy with it. I made the mistake of not giving enough input on what I wanted. That ring had visible inclusions, and the "certification" was a GSL cert that didn't even include cut proportions.
The difference in light performance between a mall stone and an ACA is amazing! Side-by-side, I can see that the Zales stone just doesn't look as clear and bright.
For my upgrade, cut was my number one factor and I knew I wanted a AGS 000 to take some of the guess work out of finding the right stone.
As for the setting, I've always been a fan of the classic Tiffany solitaire, so the Vatche u113 was perfect. I got the 18k white gold setting since my wedding band is white gold.
As for Whiteflash, great customer service, beautiful craftsmanship and a great upgrade policy!
I've included some pictures I took on my cell phone (which is pink and gave a cast to the photos).
