E-Ring pics!

Well, after a few months of lurking and occasional posting (together with my BF, now fiancé), and getting LOTS of good advice from PSers (thank you sooo much!), the ring is now done, and I wanted to share photos. The proposal was very romantic. Even though I was expecting it, he still managed to throw in some surprises, which was perfect. We flew in from our home in Bermuda to NYC (where we split our time) to pick up the ring. The stone was from Whiteflash, and I cannot say enough good things about them and their service. The ring was made by A. Jaffe, and I''m very happy with the result even though the dealer we bought it from (Michael C Fina) in NYC offered so-so service. I adore the ring and we are completely thrilled to have had a wonderful time in choosing it. Thanks for all the help from you longtime forum members! And now, the photos! First I''m attaching the mock-up, and next the actual photos taken from our balcony this morning (I shot the photos a bit hurriedly so they may not be the best...)

Yet another shot, I tried to capture all the different angles. I love the swirls around the center stone. The contemporary styling isn't for everyone, but I adore it.

I specifically asked WF to source a stone that was graded VERY STRONG BLUE in terms of fluorescence. They came through with exactly what I wanted. The gorgeous blue is being shown off here, with a UV light pointed straight at it. Some people don''t like fluoro I know, which is good because they should sell their stones to me since I''m "collecting" these days!

The promise by Damiani it is a little different. The stone is in a bezel and not in a griff setting, it is not so high and it has a double halo. I have tried it, beautiful but too cumbersome

specs are 1.35 ct I VVS1 on my 4.75 finger. I think there are about 0.50 carats on the ring in the melee. very thin band, I love it!
