I have very small ear lobes (not ears, unfortunately, just lobes). For years have been wearing 25 pointers in a 6 prong setting. I am now getting ready to purchase my big upgrade --- all the way to ---.83TCW!!! Each diamond is 4.8mm in diameter and this seems just about right to me. So -- for tiny, thin ear lobes, what setting will be best? Martini, and if so, the straight prong pointed cocktail martini or the standard more curved martini? (I'm getting the earrings at BGD and both styles are available).
But, would milgrain bezels sit properly on tiny ear lobes? I love the look of them. Understand they will add about 1 mm or even a tiny bit more to the diameter, which is pushing it. But my main concern is -- how will they sit? Would having the la pousette clutch backs make any difference?
Have loved seeing all the gorgeous milgrain bezels posted by Phoenix and others. Please -- especially if you also have TLS (toy lobe syndrome) tell me what your experience has been and what you think.
