40 pt Five Stone vs 30 pt - Anyone have side-by-side pics?

Would anyone happen to have pics of five stone rings side-by-side showing 40 pointers and 30 pointers? 30 pointers are much more within my budget, but I have only seen a five stone ring with 40 pointers in person. The coverage was perfect so I am curious how much coverage would be lost comparatively with the 30 point stones.

I don't have pics, but would love to see a side-by-side as well. I was recently debating .20-.30, then finally decided on .35 for my 5-stone. I haven't receive the ring yet, but am excited to see how much finger coverage it gives me

What a fun problem to have!!

There is a sticky, (pasted below) which contains all kinds of content sorted by subject (i.e. '5 stone rings'), & I bet the 5 stone thread contained therein will have some examples of 30 vs 40 pt rings so you can visualize the difference. I'd also ask your vender to produce some pics--they'd most likely would be your best bet for a straight on comparison. Have fun!!

I was initially debating between 35 vs. 40 pointers for my 5-stone. The finger coverage was not significant, but the price difference absolutely was. Here are two pics of my 5-stone with 35 pointers on a size 5.75 finger.

I also have .35 point diamonds in my five stone, on a 7.25 finger. It's very blingy & provides plenty of finger coverage. here's a pic:

Swooning over here! I also wear a 5.75. Oh, these next few weeks can't go by fast enough!!! Kama, which setting is that? Do you have side profile pics? I went with BGD, the classic U Prong setting in platinum.

Woofmama, same for you! Which setting and any side profile pics?

I also have a 5.75 finger and my stones are .43 and .44. I honestly don't see much difference between my stones and the .35's that are posted. Sorry for the poor quality pics, I just snapped them with my phone so you could see the size.

Five stone Memoire band with .40 stones for a total of 2 ct. I had a 1.50 ct. band made first with .30 pointers and upgraded to this size. The stones sit very low and this ring is very comfortable!

Second picture is of the .30 stones.

I was initially set on the U prong, but I am currently trying to think up something custom. I've got a few ideas, but I also don't want it set too high, which doesn't give me all that much space for designs below! I plan to wear the 5 stone on my right hand, but I want the option to wear it stacked on top of my wedding band. However, since my e-ring is an oval, it is going to be tricky to set the five stone just right so it sits over the wedding band and below the engagement ring so no girdles touch!
