VC Eternity Pave Band - Neo French or U Cut? Any views?

Hi All, Since seeing so many amazing Emilya Halo's on here recently (Alene's gorgeous reset etc) Ive decided to go for a VC Pave eternity band in single cuts to go with my AVC. I want to go with 18k yellow gold as I love mixing metals and I love the tone of yellow gold on my skin. Ive watched both video's but really cant see the difference between Neo French Pave or the U Cut version. Does anyone know what the difference is? They are both noted as 'minimising metal seen' so I dont understand the difference. I would actually not mind seeing abit of the yellow gold metal. Thanks!

Bumping this, because I am wondering the exact same thing! I would prefer a less "scallopy" looking edge on my halo (don't want it to look like a flower). Is one type of pave better for this than the other?
