looking at a very specific decision and curious for what people think. stone A is a 2.05 E oval VS2. stone B is a 2.30 H oval VVS2. both are ideal cut, though the E is probably a tiny bit better. both stones are gorgeous. price difference is $3000 for the E over the H. they are both great stones. ring will have a halo around it. wondering if folks think it's obviously worth it to step up for the E, or if it's sort of silly to spend the extra money.

Not enough information provided. You need to post pics of each stone head on, and also an ASET. Then we can help you.

Without that information we might as well use a dart board.

w/o other info, I will choose E/VS2 - much better combination than H/vvs. you will see the color not the clarity. VVS is a waste on H color stone.

E/VS2 is a nicer combo. Are those your only two options? I might try and find an F-G/VS2 so you can keep some size or keep the price down.

Can't say how they'd look without more information / images.
