How to get an AGS report?

What is the process for getting an AGS report? It's my understanding that a consumer can not order one directly, but needs to find a jeweler that is a member of the American Gem Society. There is only one in my area and I'm not familiar with the company. Do any PS vendors offer this service? What is the typical turn-around time and cost for the AGS report? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Any jeweler and any appraiser can have a stone graded by AGSL, whether they're an AGS member or not. This includes the entire list of PS vendors.
