What reference do you have that these people are reputable, other than your friend?

Personally, I would SHY AWAY.

The prices are better on here and the vendors on Pricescope have great reputations for customer service. I know nothing of these people.

Just my 2 cents
Good Luck

Certainly doesn''t look to be a steal to me. Nor does the website seem very reputable...

haha..well, no worries. that''s what i thought too. i always tell ppl, when it seems too good to be true..usually it really is.
i just thought maybe some of u may have heard or came across the website before.

well..singapore''s abit limited when it comes to the diamond industry. mostly are local boutiques.
the international big names don''t specialised in diamonds are blvgari, cartier.

then there''s tiffany&co and larry''s jewellery(who brings in Lazare diamonds). cheers..

If you’re a local in Singapore, pay them a visit. Singapore is a high tax place and consequently it makes little sense for people overseas to be shopping there and the site doesn’t provide much information to compare them but for locals this may be a fine B&M shop that needs a little help with web design. We’ve had quite a few visitors who have complained about how it’s difficult to find a good jeweler there. Are you in Singapore?

yes, im from singapore. im not judging the credibility of the boutique based on their web design or shop location. the boutique is situated in the heart of orchard road, prime district area. if u noticed, the price of their rings are around 60% lower then the market rate u can find anywhere with similiar specs. i only wonder how they can offer such good prices..

pls don''t get me wrong, they may really be a decent shop in town.

I don’t really see enough information about their offerings to compare well and I didn’t really dig into the site all that far but I notice they list on their home page a half a dozen stones that they want to feature including a 0.90 E/VS2/GIA VG cut for $8,303. Markets vary quite a bit from one to the next and ‘market rate’ will obviously depend on what marketplace you’re discussing, but comparing that as an Internet offer against other Internet based dealers, that’s in the same general range as everyone else when you consider the import taxes and the ‘free’ mounting (assuming these prices are listed in SGD, not US$).

i think the prices are in SGD. depending on what you mean by market rate, they may not be that much lower. if you are comparing it to the big local jewelers, i would think yes. but there are other reputable one store only jewelers in singapore who can offer you well-cut diamonds for slightly higher than the price as you would pay at the online vendors (taking into account their overheads and all).
