We both had the day off today and have wanted to go to the Shedd Aquarium for awhile now so we decided to make a day of it. I thought that maybe he had something planned but we went through the whole thing and nothing...
Then on our way back to the car he asked if I wanted to sit by the lake for a bit. Today was a hot humid day and my boy is a air conditioning kind of guy.. somethign was up
He said that he would run back to the car for a blanket and some bottles of water. When he came back he had the blanket and a cooler and a little cd player. He pulled a bottle of wine and a platter of yummy cheeses and grapes from the cooler and played "our song" on the cd player. Then he asked me, it was so sweet and he had talked to my parents and his parents last night. It was wonderful and thoughful and very us... I couldn''t ask for anything more! spent the day with friends and family... it was great! sooo excited!
my camara is not so great for close ups but will post pics of the ring as soon as i can. It''s a light yellow sapphire that Richard Homer cut... concave square emerald with clipped corners 6mm X6mm... in a simple cathedral setting.. i love love love it
and congrats to all the others who had a happy few days! i see there are quite a few off the list recently!
