Are you having your DJ get there early in order to play your music when you make your entrance into the hall and to play dinner music?
The DJ we talked to said he usually starts around 9, and FI and FMIL think I''m crazy to want him to get there to play dinner music, they say people want to talk and music will get in the way. But I always like music playing during dinner, plus I want to have him there to be able to play the songs we want when we enter the reception hall. Also, I don''t completely trust the reception hall to have their equipment working perfectly (microphone, speakers, et) since the hall is pretty old.
So, I thought I would see what everyone else plans to do. Are you having the DJ there only to play music for dancing?
