I love ovals and I love strong fluorescence. Apparently only a small percentage of strong fluorescence stones are hazy.

Here are some pics of it taken from a video. What do u think? It is H color, 1.5ct, Si3 with strong fluorescence. I really want to love it but it looks hazy to me. But also, it looks so yellow to me for some reason! I need your comments please! It is pre-owned, it is currently on consignment.

It looks yellow and hazy to me. I question the color spec and the clarity spec (SI3) usually means I1-3.

Yes, I agree it has a yellowy hint and that the clarity might be impacting on the appearance. Does it have a certificate?

Is the stone graded by EGL?

SI3 is a flag for an EGL graded stone in my books. The question then becomes, which EGL graded it.

It's gotta be EGL or some other grading. That is not an H color stone. For me, that stone is a hard no.

Yes, it's EGL. I have asked to see the certificate and it's in the works. It's priced really low so now I know y.

EGL Israel. The sellers says her jewelers agrees with the color grading..Sellers herself feels it looks very white..

HI:

If a picture is worth a thousand words...I'll describe it in one: lifeless.

cheers--Sharon

EGL Israel is very loose with grading. More than likely, the H, SI3 is closer to a J or K (leaning K here) and I1/I2. I agree with Sharon, that on top of the grading it is also lifeless. I would definitely pass.

I think it's yellow, hazy and wouldn't perform very well.
