Show me your diamond solitaire drops and dangles

There is a very popular thread on diamond studs, but I could not find any thread on non-stud earrings. I would love to see all the unusual styles that you, ladies, wear.

While I do not own a drops of my own (those are still on my project list), I found a couple of pictures to start from from our favourite vendors sites.

Of course, any earshots will be most welcome

Here are my dangles: WF 0.8 J/VS2 and 0.79 J/VS1 Expert Selection. I have the opposite of Dumbo ears in that my ears sit very close to my head so when I wear studs they don't face forward, ugh. Dangles are the perfect solution as the stone can be adjusted to always face forward. Plus I like that I don't have to touch the diamonds to put them on so they stay free of fingerprints. Dangles also move a lot so these are always catching the light and sparkling. I love the size and wear them almost daily. @diamondseeker2006 was very helpful and kind in helping me select these. I greatly appreciated her assistance.

Here are mine. An ex bought them for me about 15 years ago & I know nothing about them other than they're 18ct gold & measure 5mm each, so about .50ct each ear? They are super bright & sparkly, which is why they never found their way onto eBay with the rest of his gifts!! I also like the articulation of them against my dark hair. Sorry for the poor phone pics. It's evening here now & the camera hates the low light...

Some of you might know I just adore diamond drop earrings. They are the only type I wear usually. Something so romantic and ethereal about the old cut dangles especially. And don't get me started about the articulation of the dangles. I just love feeling them move when I am wearing them.

They measure 5mm, so working out at 1/2 carat each diamond.

Hi ceg, just measured them with a mm ruler for you so measurements are approximate. Top stone is (approximately) 4mm and bottom stone (approximately) 6mm. HTH. They are really lovely and I know Grace would be happy to make a pair for you if you wanted...
