My 2.26 Carat Fancy Intense Yellow Diamond

I am so excited to finally make my first post. I have been looking at everyone's beautiful jewelry for awhile and finally found time to take a few pictures of my own. These are my first attempts. I will try to take better pictures in the future when I have more time to read through the helpful threads on photography. In the meantime, here goes.....

This ring is part 15th anniversary gift and part gift to myself. I have been looking for a yellow diamond ring that "spoke to me" for awhile. I wish I could say that I was the one to find her but it was actually my 9 year old son who spotted her in the jewelry case. When we are in jewelry stores, he and I have a game we play where he names the various stones and then he looks for the ring he thinks I will like best. Well this is what he found:

She is a 2.26 carat GIA graded fancy intense yellow diamond SI1 in a hand-forged 18K and platinum setting (size 6) with 2 trillion side-mounted diamonds (0.58 ct, G, VS2).

Junebug17 - Happy to answer - This ring spends time on both hands. I try to wear my original ER and wedding band at least 50% of the time because my husband is sentimental about it (and to be honest I am too). So when I am wearing my original ER, this ring is my RHR.

As requested, here are a couple of additional shots. I will post more later when I have better light and can play around with the focus. I never realized how tricky pictures can be with jewelry.
