Best solitaire setting??

Hello everyone! I recently purchased a 1.10 diamond and I want to set it in a 14K white gold solitaire mounting. I have been told that there are settings that make the diamond look bigger. Do you know any of them?

I think a thin band with a stone set higher makes the stone pop and appear bigger like the setting below. I am biased though coz this is my fav go to setting in 18k/platinum.
