Thank you MAC-W! I can't remember if it has a thread of its own, but I've posted it before on other threads. My old halo had its own thread, but this is a re-do! It's a 4.19 center with 1.79 in the halo and shank.

I wanted to add my ring to this lovely thread! Maybe it will revive it a bit! I LOVE the split shank in my ring, its so delicate and doesn't extend too far and is my favorite part of my ring!!

My custom designed split shank cushion cut engagement ring. Hand crafted by Mike Wright at Jeweler's Touch in Columbus, Ga. It has specially placed infinity symbols on each side and one on the bottom underneath the main diamond. Size 3.5 for all the women out there with tiny fingers. Working on a band to go with it, would love to see what others have put with their split shanks.
