Hey Ladies! Thanks for the well wishes! I don't have pics yet (my camera is charging), but I've got a story for you!

So yesterday we both had the day off together - which isn't that common, so we decided to go to Duke Gardens in Durham, NC. He packed up an entire picnic lunch - sandwiches, cheese/crackers, blackberries and wine - he took care of all of it! We found a shady, grassy spot by the lake and spread out the blanket. We had a lovely picnic lunch, and at the end he told me that he had a surprise dessert for me and that I should close my eyes

When I opened my eyes, he was down on one knee saying wonderful things - with a beautiful ring in hand.


It was PERFECT!
