Thank you for all the kind words. I will try to take some hand shots this afternoon
A couple people mentioned theses stones being difficult to find and that is quite true. I had only ever seen them in person in a store in Aspen where they were obviously very overpriced and surprisingly not nice stones at all. My husband was kind of shocked that I was interested in one because the ones we were able to see were very included and dull.
When I approached Mark, he said he could get one but that I would have to be patient. Apparently they just don't cut that many. He sent me a few different stones' stats and I wasn't interested until I saw this one. Just like my previous experiences with Mark, he knew what I was going to like and sent it my way. I so appreciate his eye for great diamonds.
I also read that Reese's engagement ring is an Ashoka, so I guess I'm in good company

When I look a cushions I love the ones that look like a cushion crossed with an Emerald cut - and it seems that's exactly what an Ashoka cut is. I love it!
